Aurora is CEO of A GO STRATEGY a d.b.a. of AOG Global Strategy, LLC, a minority woman-owned business consulting firm with expertise in coaching, consulting and digital marketing.
Aurora loves to connect the dots. She is a wife, mother, and community volunteer. Her passion is to unleash the unspoken vision and purpose accelerating life’s purpose in people, organizations and communities. She guides the transformation of people and business by aligning purpose with strategy and execution.
A unique blend of her leadership style is to innovate, first solidifying vision, strategy then building unique relationships to lead and influence transformation in high impact industries. As Chairman of the Board, her pioneering vision with Mayor Hardberger and the board, led to the creation of the United States first New Energy Economy at CPS Energy, the nation’s largest public power company of $10 billion. The vision has an economic impact of $1.4 billion in San Antonio, attracting renewable energy partners such as OCI Solar, to develop 400 MWac of clean, renewable energy to serve about 70,000 homes in San Antonio, Texas. It is the first and remains the largest utility-scale solar project in Texas.
As the Director of the Fannie Mae Partnership, she led in partnership with U.S. Senators, Congressman, County Judge and San Antonio Mayors to invest in a $2.5 billion affordable housing and community development strategy, increasing the the City of San Antonio’s homeownership rates. In a decade, over 250,000 first-time homebuyers were served, and a community & economic development strategy leveraging public federal, state and local funds with private capital from banks and credit unions was created to revitalize the inner city’s housing stock.
In 2007, She joined Credit Human, a $2.5 Billion Credit Union as a Senior Credit Officer growing the mortgage portfolio from $480M to over $800M and later became their Membership Officer expanding the federally charted credit union. In 2013, she left her career in financial services to pursue digital marketing and her passion in coaching. In 2014, she led the City of San Antonio’s first HubSpot User Group (HUG Group) while mentoring a start-up and building a digital brand presence for Analytic Focus, a national consulting agency in statistics, finance and economics.
Currently, Aurora leads the effort for Digital Creative Institute (DCI) to partner with the Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship, industry business leaders and public officials, to become the first digital marketing apprentice model in the U.S. She acts as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Head Coach with DCI.
As Head Coach of Digital Creative Institute’s since 2015, she on-boards apprentices with a multi-generation of seasoned business leaders to accelerate value and performance to the company. Apprentices build digital marketing and leadership skills, while focusing on their life’s purpose, values and preferences.
Aurora volunteers with Pearls of Promise, as Director of Marketing to promote their annual Level Up Conference, a faith-based organization whose mission is to focus on teaching and equipping women and this generation of leaders about growing in their faith in the marketplace. Aurora loves to teach universal biblical truths on leadership that unleash purpose and passion.
Learning is continuous, her degree is in Business Management from LeTourneau University. She is an Executive Coach certified with iPEC and Coach Training Edu credentials, recognized by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She continuously reads books about purpose, passion and performance.
